Over to meet Diego aka disdis on dubble

I look like I’m not Spanish. I think it’s because of my almond-shaped eyes. I write like a kid and sing like a squirrel. Don’t ever be close to me when I’m singing. You may become deaf. I’ve tried to play music but my fingers are just used to massage Vas Vas’s back. I’m quite clumsy doing crafts. I try to mature but maturity just hurts. So, to ease all these faults, I bring my cameras with me anyplace. I just want to see the world from outside. What do I do to get money to live? I’m a marketing manager of an almost 150 years old playing card company. Most of the people out there have played at least once with this company’s playing cards

I use mainly instagram but always try to test new ones like Camerabag, VSCOcam or one I love that is IncrediBooth. I’ve had more in my mobile but these are the ones I’ve kept over the years. I also use video apps like iSupr8 and other lightmeter apps.

What’s the role of photography in your life? It’s like a messy and strange diary of my life and my family.

How you met dubble? I don’t remember but I’m quite sured I saw some pictures posted by Maya Newman (Maya) in Instagram and many other people I already knew in the analogue world.

Have you shot multiple exposures before? I’ve always been into the analogue photography and of course, I always loved dubbling with my own shoots or sharing rolls of film with anyone in the world. The experiences go from disappointment to a complete joy but I still love any of both situations. You always learn something from mistakes. Dubble App gives you the opportunity of creating dubbles without a high cost. Anyway, most of the pictures I upload in the DubbleApp are still analogue pictures scanned.

Stumbling on Jessica’s dubbles filled the dubble office with hope. We assumed 21st century kids just took photos of their besties and cup cakes. But along came Jessica, a 15 year old gymnast from Portugal with stunning self-portraits shot with beautiful tones!

Hello dubblers! We spotted this awesome single last week and booked it for a single Sunday spotlight!

I’m John Carleton - Husband to one, Son to two, Brother to three, and Father to four. I’m a systems analyst and photographer in the delightful village of Portland, Oregon.

I believe I discovered dubble through Heather Champ. If I remember correctly I saw a dubble posted to her Instagram account and decided to check it out. I love it! It’s so fun to submit and wait to see what’s going to pop up.

I only recently got a smartphone (iPhone 5s), so I’m a little new to the photo apps game. I mainly use Camera+, VSCOcam, Instagram, and of course, dubble.

I love shooting multiple exposures with some of my film cameras. Maybe that’s why I love dubble so much. It’s a lot of the same fun with a MUCH shorter wait.

We have a cool competiton at the moment for the best redubble series. These came in the other day by email and we decided to do a quick spotlight on the dubbler in question!

My name is Brittani and I’m 24. I loved Photography since I picked up my Grandpa’s old Petri camera when I was about 10 years old. Even before that I always saw things as capturing a photo, like my mind worked like a shutter inside a camera. My view of the world and how I see it, is driven by my heart/lung defect. I was born sick. I see the little things,  the things that most people tend to miss.

Photography is a huge part of my life. I’m grateful for it every single day. Because of my health I’m not able to work, but do pick up small jobs here and there. Photography is my therapy, I love everything about it.

I use instagram, VSCOcam and of course Dubble! Dubble helps my photography.Helps me seek out different types of textures and lighting. And I love that you’ll never know what you’re going to get. 

I’ve used picasa (desktop photo editing program) to do “double exposure”. That was actually my 1st experience with it about 6 years ago.

We’re not going to hide it or try to act cool; we LOVE Shannon! There you go we said it. Her dubbles are great but we decided to feature her singles for Single Sunday as they are simply beautiful.

I’m Shannon Dagher, Founder of the recently-launched TheClementineBox.com. Clementine is a lifestyle blog and Etsy shop featuring Art, D.I.Y. tutorials, Photography, Vintage Kitsch, and some of my favorite gems from around the web. Photography has always played a huge role in my life. My Dad had a studio in the house growing up, and I first learned to shoot from him, then later in school. I have made my living as a Photographer in the past, and I never go anywhere without a camera. I’ve got my iPhone perma-glued to my hand and have downloaded just about every photography app on the market at one time or another (which is how I stumbled upon Dubble), but make good use of VSCO, PicFx, A Beautiful Mess and Camera+. Dubble has quickly become my latest obsession - I even blogged about it on The Clementine Box!- I have an extensive camera collection and have had lots of fun with double-exposures over the years (Holgas, FEDs, Rolleis, etc.), but the impatient child in me LOVES the instant gratification of seeing the final product immediately, especially when paired with a complete stranger’s image. FUNNESS!

This Sunday we’re featuring the Singles of Rosa

My name is Rosa Fay, I am a twenty-year-old, self-taught photographer, currently at university studying fashion photography. Photography was actually something I grew to love. When I was younger, my parents always asked if I wanted a camera for my birthday, and I said no, because I thought it was boring. My passion for it actually came out of a trip to France I took several years ago (after I finally said yes to the birthday camera offer) and ever since then, the camera has become an extension of my arm. It’s the one thing I never leave the house without! Because I was taking so many photos, I decided to start up a blog where I’d be able to document my fashion and general photography. This blog is my pride, and is a place where I can see the progression of my photography over the years and what I need to work on.

For photo apps, my main go-to is Snapseed for editing, but the Dubble app is fast becoming one of my favourites! I also love to use  and WeHeartIt. For WeHeartIt, I occasionally use the Phoster app to create lyric posters, which is great fun!

I believe Dubble actually started following me on instagram, so I went to check out their page. When I saw all the fantastic dubbles they were posting, I followed immediately. But then, when I suddenly realised that Dubble was actually an app, and that I’d be able to use it myself, I couldn’t sign up quicker!

I’ve briefly tried out dubble exposure on Photoshop, but have never been able to shoot it myself. It is something that I am very interested in though, so the Dubble app is fantastic to experiment with!

Meet Susanne AKA Susigrafie

Susanne is one of those dubblers who just gets it. Why? Because she has the analogue background!

Hi! My name is Susanne aka Susigrafie on dubble, facebook and Instagram. I’m a self-taught photographer and artist from Hamburg, Germany. Travelling to explore and photograph the different parts of the world, is what I would love to do all the time, but chocolate and wet doggy kisses keep me pretty happy when I have other things to do!

I’ve found my way into photography many years ago. It started as a hobby as a teenager and grew into a passion after I got my first digital camera a few years back. I still shoot film from time to time, but just for fun and usually with old lo-fi cameras. Well, and I have my iPhone, which I probably use to the most to capture the little moments of my daily life.

I have tried tons of photo apps, but my favourites are VSCOcam, Picfx, Instagram and dubble.

I saw friends on Instagram posting dubbles and I fell in love with the idea of creating digital double exposures with people from all around the world. The results are sometimes really stunning and a great inspiration for me as an artist.

I have shot multiple exposures before (with my Holga and Lubitel 166B) and I have been doing film swaps with friends too and it is always pretty exciting to get the roll developed to see the results.
